Lavdim and Yasmine’s wedding day was absolutely a celebration! They opened their wedding with joyful dancing, and picked it up right after their ceremony. The bride was stunning, and the house was decorated in a beautiful layout!
Abigail and Eliseo - A Small July Wedding
I first met Abigail and Eliseo when I photographed their engagement photos last winter. They had plans to get married on September 4th of this year, but when COVID happened, they pushed up their date and invited their closest friends and family to celebrate with them. It was a sweet wedding on a hot July day at a stunning garden!
Laura and Kevin - Snow Fights and a Retriever
I went to London to photograph Laura and Kevin for their engagement, but it was George who wanted to be the star of the show. He’s such a photogenic dog with the friendliest personality. Laura and Kevin took me to the beautiful snow-covered trees of Fanshawe Conservation Area, where Laura once worked. It was a beautiful winter wonderland!
Victoria and Ryan - Niagara Winter Session
Victoria and Ryan met me at the Dufferin Islands in Niagara Falls with their two friendly doggos. I love the bright smiles I saw! They were so natural in front of the camera.
Brooke and Brandon - An A-Frame Getaway
Brooke and Brandon booked a tiny, adorable, A-frame cabin beside a frozen winter pond for a weekend getaway. On Saturday, I arrived and took photos of the happily engaged couple! Featuring champagne, coffee, and blankets.
Abigail and Eliseo - A Cold But Stunning Waterloo Session
I have to start this post by saying “thank you” to every engaged couple, and especially these two, for BRINGING IT. For showing up, for bringing inspiration, a flower crown, a stunning dress, and for standing out in the cold. We worked together to make magic, and I am so excited for your wedding!
Shannon and Jason - Golden Fall Engagement
If I had a Top 3 Sweetest, Most Comfortable, Easy-To-Get-Along-With and Definitely Attractive Couples I’ve Ever Photographed list, Shannon and Jason would be on it. These cuties brought coffee and jerseys to Civic Gardens Complex and snuggled under a gorgeous golden tree. They were a joy to work with, and I am so excited for their upcoming wedding in October!
Delilah - Museum Portraits
Behind the Elgin Country Railway Museum in St. Thomas, tall brick walls and golden fall fields made a lovely background for two photographer friends exchanging photo sessions! Delilah is such a friendly, easygoing person, and a talented photographer!
Amber and Alexander - Doggos at the Courthouse
Can we call this a family session instead of an engagement session? Two engaged humans + two adorable pups = happiest, cutest family… right? Poppy and Daisy are responsible for the intense puppy fever I have right now, and Amber and Alexander held nothing back when I told them to kiss.
Jessica and Alfredo - A September Wedding
Jessica and Alfredo first asked me to be their photographer about two years ago, and then again for their engagement session, and then they asked me to travel back to my hometown to photograph their wedding! 200 guests sat among the trees at their family’s ranch to watch them exchange vows, and then everybody enjoyed dinner and pastries under a white canopy.
Brittany and Josh - Tiffany Falls trail
Brittany and Josh chose the easiest, shortest trail ever, which took us to Tiffany Falls! I adored the sound of water between the trees and the sunlight slanting through the forest. It was so refreshing, and just a wonderful place to spend the afternoon. They told me they were nervous about having their pictures taken, but there was no way to tell, considering how easygoing they were and how simply in love.
Christina - Golden Hour Portraits
Christina is so much cuter in front of the camera than she knows! She chose the perfect location, and I chose the perfect time. My favorite photos are the ones of the sunset glowing through her hair.
Alexandra and Robert - A Fountain Serenade
Alexandra and Robert were such a dreamy couple to photograph! They were comfortable with the camera, graceful at slow dancing, and obviously in love! They chose the Royal Botanical Gardens for their engagement session, and it couldn’t have been more perfect.
Victoria and Richard - A Snack by the Pond
Okay, when I say “snack”, I don’t mean food. They brought their fluffy little Pomeranian, and his name is Snack Pack. He definitely wanted attention as frequently as he could get it, but was also such a perfect model for the photos he was in!
Kaitlin and Brian - A Summery Celebration
Kaitlin and Brian spent so many years in a long distance relationship, traveled to meet each other in far-away countries, but finally they and their two cats get to be together every day in the same home!
Ashley and Jim - Bride in Black
Booking my photography services was a spontaneous decision for them, and I met them only minutes before the ceremony started! But everyone was so welcoming and comfortable. Ashley and Jim shared their ceremony with the few people closest to their hearts, and it was a refreshing wedding to be a part of.
Crystal - Milk Bath
Grapefruits, oranges, limes, Fruity Pebbles, and milk sitting in my car beside my camera bag? How mysterious. Crystal is a talented makeup artist! Her work is displayed here: https://crystalkornelsen.wixsite.com/mysite
Mi Encanto cafe
This cafe holds a place in my heart. My fiance and I had our first date sitting in a sunny booth, eating Oreo crepes, and I continue to come back for business meetings and brunches. The owner is passionate about sourcing her coffee beans ethically and roasting them in-store.
Tecolote cafe - and Crystal
The mocha here is my absolute favorite! And the matcha latte is a close second.
Tasty Beet - juice bar and health food restaurant
I’ve loved this place from the first visit, and had to ask if they were interested in photography. They were so willing to work with me, and they even sent me home with free takeout dinner (never required, but always appreciated)!
